Work experience Launched

Summer work experience was launched with NUAST Year 12 students this week (20/01/2016)

Year 12 students this week were presented with details of their summer work experience programme. Work experience week will begin on Monday 11th July 2016.

Students need to start looking for a placement relevant to their future career right now. Tutors and Head of Year are always available to help students with their search and with how to contact companies, but this is an essential part of the process for students to do themselves. Advice has been given about drawing up lists of potential work experience providers and how best to contact them.

The deadline for organising work experience placements is after the Easter holidays (Mid-April). This allows the academy enough time to obtain essential risk assessment documents from employers.
